We are excited to announce that our organization is seeking dedicated Emergency Medicine Physicians to become part of our team in Fort Wayne, IN.

Role Overview

Position Type: Full-time (1.0 FTE)
Annual Contact Hours: Approximately 1500 hours
Shift Schedule: 8 and 12-hour shifts available
Partnership Track: 2-year pathway to partnership
Patient Volume: Parkview Regional Medical Center sees around 65,000 visits annually, while Parkview Randallia Hospital averages 60,000 visits.

As a physician, you will deliver specialized medical care tailored to the needs of patients. You will handle a diverse range of cases, from serious conditions like heart attacks and strokes to less critical issues. Your responsibilities will include performing assessments, diagnostic procedures, and medical treatments necessary to stabilize or resuscitate patients, as well as referring them to the appropriate medical departments.

Our facilities utilize the EPIC EMR system and provide 24/7 access to Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, Cardiology, Intensivists, Hospitalists, and Radiologists. Additionally, we have neurointervention capabilities and a Cardiac Cath lab available around the clock.

Must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine

About Our Team

Our group, Professional Emergency Physicians, P.C. (PEP), serves nine busy hospital emergency departments within our organization. Currently, we have a team of 70 Emergency Physicians and 50 Advanced Practice Providers committed to delivering exceptional emergency care in northeast Indiana. PEP has been the primary Emergency Physician coverage group for our hospitals since 1972 and has expanded over the past 50 years to cover nine 24/7 emergency departments across all facilities.

Facility Highlights

Parkview Regional Medical Center: A Level II Trauma Center and a $575 million tertiary medical facility that opened in 2012, featuring a modern 528-bed design.
Operates the Samaritan Flight Program and a hospital-based hospitalist and intensivist/eICU® program.
Equipped with cutting-edge technology, including daVinci Robotics for various surgical specialties and CyberKnife® at the Parkview Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Parkview Hospital Randallia: Recently underwent over $65 million in renovations, care model transformations, and physician recruitment efforts.
Offers 179 beds and operates under an open ICU model.
