Job Full Description Our partnered client, a well-established manufacturer in the Racine, WI area, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their team on a direct hire basis. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving the quality philosophy and culture at the plant level, ensuring products consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements while maintaining profitability.

Position Details
- Employment Type: Direct Hire
- Location: Racine, WI
- Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience
- Reports To: President - CEO
- Set and maintain quality standards across all products
- Develop measurement systems and plans to ensure shop-floor standards meet customer requirements
- Oversee and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) for compliance and cost-effectiveness
- Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities
- Coordinate internal, customer, and third-party quality system audits
- Maintain a corrective action system to analyze and resolve nonconforming conditions and complaints
- Assess supplier capabilities and monitor supplier quality performance
- Plan and manage inspection of incoming materials, work in progress, and final products
- Supervise and develop Quality Technicians, including training, scheduling, and performance reviews
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment and ensure department safety goals are met
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a Quality Supervisory role preferred
- Experience with quality systems, quality improvement techniques, and corrective/preventive action
- Experience developing PPAPs and First Article Inspections (FAIs) preferred
- Expert knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance)
- Strong statistical and root-cause analysis skills
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, and facilitation skills
- ASQ Certification preferred
