Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
• At least two years recent experience in field: Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion.
• Collect and analyze relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation, and develop a care plan prescribing interventions to attain outcomes.
• Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
• Evaluate patient progress toward attaining outcomes and collaborate with the team of patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide patient care in a safe and caring environment.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and provide educational opportunities for patients and families.
