The Switchboard Operator position in Telecommunications is responsible for answering the telephone in an appropriate and professional manner and transferring or directing calls to the correct area. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Ability to display a professional demeanor, courtesy, and proper telephone etiquette Work Hours Work hours will vary as needed Position is on-call List any hazardous conditions or physical demands required by this position N/A Qualified applications will be made available to the department/committee for review immediately upon submission.
