Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a vibrant educational community near Lakeville, MN. This immediate opportunity runs through June 4th, with some flexibility for a June 3rd end date if progress reports are finished. You'll work alongside a dedicated speech therapy team, collaborating to help students achieve their communication goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Current SLPA license/certification in Minnesota
• Prior school-based SLPA or pediatric experience preferred
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress monitoring
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
• Flexibility and comfort with traveling between two school buildings as needed

Role Overview:

• Provide direct speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Assist with a caseload that includes LEA=29 students (shared with speech team members), plus 30-35 additional students receiving services
• Support planning and delivery of individualized and group sessions
• Track student progress and assist with progress reporting, including potential flexibility to conclude by June 3rd if documentation is complete
• Communicate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families regarding student needs and progress
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative environment across one or two school buildings
