This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Sales Development Representative - cold outreach savant based in the United States.

This is a high-impact, outbound-focused sales role at the forefront of shaping how a fast-growing construction technology platform enters and expands within the market. As a Senior Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible not only for generating qualified pipeline through cold outreach but also for actively shaping messaging, outreach strategy, and go-to-market execution. You will engage with construction professionals and decision-makers in a complex, hard-to-reach industry, turning initial contact into meaningful conversations and business opportunities. This role is ideal for a resilient, creative, and high-energy sales professional who thrives on building relationships, experimenting with outreach approaches, and refining what great outbound execution looks like. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams in a collaborative, fast-moving environment where your input directly influences growth strategy and company direction.

Accountabilities

  • Proactively identify, research, and engage construction industry decision-makers through high-volume, high-quality cold outreach across multiple channels.
  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities by initiating conversations and booking discovery calls for the sales team.
  • Continuously refine outreach messaging, sequences, and targeting strategies using data, experimentation, and performance insights.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to align messaging, improve engagement, and optimize lead conversion.
  • Contribute to the development and scaling of outbound sales processes, tools, and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Gather and synthesize market feedback from prospects to inform product positioning and go-to-market strategy.
  • Build strong relationships with potential customers by understanding their challenges and clearly articulating value.
  • Support the evolution of the SDR function by sharing best practices, testing new approaches, and helping define outreach excellence.
  • Take ownership of pipeline generation goals while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer-centric communication.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, construction tech, or other complex enterprise sales environments.
  • Strong track record of success in cold outreach, lead generation, or sales development roles.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas and engage senior stakeholders effectively.
  • High resilience, persistence, and comfort with rejection in high-volume outbound environments.
  • Strong curiosity and ability to understand customer pain points and translate them into value-driven conversations.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product, or customer success.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and feedback to improve outreach performance.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and highly accountable, with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Bonus: experience in full-cycle sales, leadership or mentoring roles, or strong networks within construction or tech industries.
