Senior Industrial EngineerCollins Aerospace is looking for a Senior Industrial Engineer for our Brazonics team within Mission Systems.This candidate will utilize their experience and talents to provide engineering support to manufacturing processes. This person will interface with the Leaders across the business to drive performance improvements, conducting studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, lead time reduction, and production record systems.Brazonics, Inc. is a brazing, machining and engineering company based out of Hampton, New Hampshire. This position will be expected to work within the production floor 50% of their work week and 50% at their desk on average.What You Will DoReviews existing operations, documenting product and information using tools including value stream maps and process flow diagrams; develops recommendations for process improvements; and leads the implementation of the recommendationsLeads factory layout initiatives for optimal process flow and material levels, and material presentationPerforms Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)Leads Lean events and mentors cross-functional teams on use of Lean principles & toolsIdentifies needs for manufacturing simulation models; leads data collection and analysis efforts to support model creation and modifications; builds capacity models and makes recommendations based on the model outputsInvestigates performance KPIs/metrics and variances; performs cost/benefit analysis and trade-off studies for methods and productivity improvements.
