Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for a Med Surg/Telemetry unit in Napa, California. This is a full-time leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, clinical standards, staff development, and overall performance of the assigned patient care unit.

The Nurse Manager will maintain 24-hour accountability for the unit and provide strong clinical leadership to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Med Surg/Telemetry unit
• Maintain 24-hour accountability for patient care, staffing, quality, and unit performance
• Support staff development, coaching, training, and performance management
• Oversee personnel management, budgeting, and fiscal responsibilities for the department
• Develop and maintain clinical standards, policies, and best practices
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the assigned unit
• Promote a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care
• Collaborate with nursing leadership, providers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing Administration, Nursing, or a related field
• Active California Registered Nurse license or ability to obtain upon hire
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association upon hire
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting
• RN leadership experience preferred, such as Charge RN, Relief Nurse, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Nurse Manager experience

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Prior Med Surg, Telemetry, or acute care leadership experience
