Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Condominium Bookkeeper role based in Cambridge, ON. The Condominium Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day accounting functions for multiple condominium corporations, including recording transactions, processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and reconciling bank and reserve fund accounts. Responsibilities include preparing monthly financial statements, assisting with annual budgets, tracking expenditures against approved budgets, and maintaining accurate general ledger records. The role will support property managers and boards with financial reporting, respond to inquiries related to fees, payments, and statements, and help ensure compliance with applicable condominium and financial regulations. The Condominium Bookkeeper will also assist with year-end working papers for external accountants and contribute to process improvements that enhance accuracy and transparency. Qualifications Robust bookkeeping and accounting skills, including experience with general ledgers, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with property management or condominium accounting systems is an asset. Knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and year-end preparation, ideally within a condominium or property management environment. Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills to manage multiple corporations, deadlines, and priorities. Clear, professional communication skills for working with property managers, board members, vendors, and owners. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity. Diploma or certification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Familiarity with condominium legislation, reserve funds, and common element fee structures is preferred.
