Outside Sales Representative

Location: St. Paul, Minnesota / Twin Cities Territory
Type: Full-Time, Outside B2B Sales

Compensation

• $50,000 base salary
• Uncapped performance-based commission structure
• Total earning potential up to $150,000 annually based on sales performance
• Benefits package available

Opportunity Overview

A growing service organization is seeking a proactive, relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to develop new commercial accounts for recurring service programs. This role is heavily focused on new business development and requires collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Transportation teams to ensure a successful customer onboarding experience.

Ideal Candidate

• Proven track record of prospecting, developing, and closing new B2B accounts.
• Experience selling recurring, contract-based services.
• Comfortable with territory management, field prospecting, cold outreach, and in-person customer meetings.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, follow-up, and CRM management skills.
• Ability to align customer expectations with operational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a prospect pipeline throughout the Twin Cities market.
• Generate new contracted commercial accounts through prospecting and relationship-building.
• Meet with business owners and decision-makers to assess service needs and present solutions.
• Prepare proposals, pricing recommendations, and service agreements.
• Coordinate customer onboarding with internal teams.
• Track prospecting activity, proposals, conversions, and overall sales performance.
• Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales process and transition to operations.
