Customer Service Representative – Open to Recent Grads or related experience!

 

Customer Service Representative (Contract, possible to convert)

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 6–12 Month Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $19–$20/hour during the contract period. Compensation will be renegotiated upon conversion to a full-time employee.

You'll gain valuable experience supporting clients, working alongside internal business partners, and developing a strong foundation in financial services and operations.

 

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer support by responding to client inquiries professionally and efficiently
• Assist with day-to-day account servicing and operational support
• Process account-related transactions while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Validate and maintain financial and client data across internal systems
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and other internal teams to ensure timely resolution of client requests
• Support reporting, documentation, and compliance activities
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects as needed

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (recent graduates are encouraged to apply),  or equivalent customer service experience
• Previous customer service or call center experience required for candidates without a bachelor's degree
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
• Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to learn and develop within the financial services industry
