Vision Center Manager L3

Responsibilities Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, and maintaining inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting, and assessing economic trends and community needs. Enforce and provide guidance on customer/member service approaches and techniques, ensuring that complaints and issues are successfully resolved within company guidelines and standards. Lead community outreach programs and encourage associates to serve as good members of the community. Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring asset protection and safety controls, overseeing safety operational and quality assurance reviews. Develop and implement action plans to improve performance, providing direction and guidance on executing company programs and strategic initiatives, and directing Vision Center Associates to ensure confidentiality of information and documentation. Supervise and provide development opportunities for associates: hire, train, mentor, assign duties, provide recognition, and promote a belonging mindset in the workplace. Ensure the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating members/customers, selecting products based on member/customer needs, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidential information, performing minor frame repair, and maintaining optical equipment. Uphold the company’s Open Door Policy by meeting with associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing policies and procedures, and suggesting resolution for associates. Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifying and communicating goals, building accountability, measuring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities. Qualifications Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience including 1 year of optical experience; high school diploma or equivalent; current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules. Preferred Qualifications Experience supervising associates. Benefits Hourly wage range: $34.50 – $46.00, plus performance-based bonuses. Health benefits: medical, vision, and dental coverage.
