Quick Facts Location: 71 Hospital Avenue, North Adams, MA 01247 Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 6+ months (anticipated) Shift: Night shifts (12 hr, 8 hr, 11 hr shifts available) Hours/Week: Varies Employment Type: Locum License/Certs: Board Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine, MA license preferred Experience: At least 2+ years in emergency medicine Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $327.60 Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2) Robust Referral Bonus Program Licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements as applicable Paid sick time per applicable state and federal laws 24/7 Dedicated Support Team committed to your success What You’ll Do Provide high-quality emergency care in a busy, Level 3 Trauma facility with 32 beds Float between Berkshire Medical Center and North Adams Hospital based on scheduling needs Manage a diverse patient population including trauma, medical, and pediatric cases Collaborate with hospitalists and APPs to deliver smooth patient flow and care transitions Respond to codes and urgent situations when necessary, adhering to hospital protocols Document patient encounters accurately using Meditech EMR system Ensure timely responses to on-call responsibilities within 30 minutes, as required What You Need Active medical license in Massachusetts or eligible for licensure Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work rotating night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment About the Assignment Join a reputable, leading healthcare provider serving North Adams, MA, providing emergency care across two hospital facilities.
