What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a busy OR setting
• Circulate during multiple complex surgical procedures, including robotic, bariatric, neuro-spine, neuro-vascular, urology, and transplant surgeries
• Assist with various surgical workflows, including scrub support if qualified
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical techs, and physicians to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Demonstrate proficiency with EMR systems and surgical equipment like Alaris pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing
• Adapt to flexible scheduling, including weekends and call shifts
• Uphold all safety and compliance standards, pass required EKG competency exams

What You Need

• Valid Louisiana RN licensure
• 2+ years of OR nursing experience
• Experience with robotic surgeries (DaVinci preferred)
• Strong knowledge of neuro, transplant, cardio/thoracic, and general surgeries
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications; CSFA or CSA if for scrub/assistant roles
• Ability to pass EKG competency exam
• Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
• Key skills: teamwork, adaptability, procedural knowledge
