Job Title

Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering
• JIRA Service Management Admin
• JIRA API Management
• Configure Jira Service Management projects and Confluence spaces
• Manage Atlassian stack applications, plugins, and conduct application server upgrades
• Advise users on how to optimize their use of these applications to support/ align with related business processes
• Work with business users to evaluate and implement new add-ons, exercising best judgment with go/no-go decisions
• Help troubleshoot and resolve bugs
• Participate in testing and implementing upgrades
• Use scripting and plug-ins to provide automation and improve usability
• Identify and apply best practices for scaling
• Define and document processes and procedures
• Develop training materials
• Train other Atlassian administrators, project administrators, and space administrators
• Help implement knowledge sharing forums
• Participate in defining the Atlassian roadmap

Required experience:

• 5+ years JIRA Service Management configuration, workflow creation and administration
• 5+ years JIRA API usage
• Experience with JQL (Jira Query Language)
• Experience with field configuration, schemas and system migration form other platforms
• Experience with ITSM and IT Operations, designing & configuring flow, setting up Service level management and reports
• Conceptual and practical understanding of Agile frameworks
• Comfortable with working independently and being a self-starter
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred experience:

• Advanced experience with various Atlassian product features like Advanced Roadmaps
• Groovy, Python or JavaScript development
• AWS CLI and AWS Services etc.
