Corporate M&A Associate

Overview The role involves taking meaningful ownership of M&A transaction workstreams from deal inception through closing. Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating principal transaction documents (e.g., acquisition agreements, equity documents, ancillary documents). The associate will manage and execute due diligence, including identifying and escalating issues, and translating findings into transaction documents and deal planning. The position requires providing post-closing support and driving deal execution and closings, managing aggressive timelines. Collaboration with various specialists (e.g., finance, tax, benefits, real estate, IP, litigation) and managing cross-functional workflows are integral to the role. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to run substantial components of transactions, from early deal stages through closing, and possess comfort interacting directly with clients and internal deal teams.
