Join the Snowflake team.We are looking for an attorney to join Snowflake's Legal team as Corporate Counsel - Litigation. In this role, you will support and manage a variety of litigation and dispute matters, advise the business on litigation risk, and help build and improve the processes that keep our litigation function running effectively. This role will report to the Director, Assistant General Counsel - Litigation and is an in-person role based in Menlo Park, CA or Atlanta, GA. This is not a remote position.ResponsibilitiesLitigation and Dispute SupportWorking collaboratively with our Legal team, outside counsel, and cross-functional stakeholders, support and manage disputes and litigation matters across their full lifecycle — from initial case assessment through resolution.Review and advise on litigation-related contractual provisions in commercial agreements, including dispute resolution, governing law, venue, arbitration, limitation of liability, and indemnification clauses.Manage and coordinate responses to subpoenas, garnishment orders, domestic relations orders, statutory requests for information, and requests from government and law enforcement agencies.Advise business stakeholders on litigation risks and issues involved in business disputes; pragmatically weigh legal risks and benefits of complex situations and propose practical, business-oriented solutions with tact and maturity.Support bankruptcy-related matters, including responses to proofs of claim, adversary proceedings, preference demand letters, and creditor inquiries.Assist with internal investigations on matters involving legal risks to Snowflake, coordinating with the People team, Security organization, and other relevant functions as needed.Partner with outside counsel on discovery, motion practice, and litigation strategy.Process & InfrastructureAssist in developing and improving scalable processes and procedures for the handling of litigation matters, including litigation holds, matter tracking, and document management.Help develop and maintain internal resources, templates, and playbooks to support consistent and efficient litigation management across the team.RequirementsJD from an accredited law school, active membership in at least one state bar, and ability to practice in the jurisdiction in which this position is located.Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, with substantive litigation experience at a law firm, in-house, or both.Familiarity with commercial disputes and contractual dispute resolution provisions; exposure to bankruptcy matters is a plus.Experience managing or supporting responses to subpoenas and government inquiries preferred.Ability to explain complicated legal concepts in plain language.Strong organizational skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Low ego and an attitude that no project is too big or too small.Sense of humor and genuine passion for the work.Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth.
