Floor Manager

A.O.C. is seeking an organized, hospitality-driven professional to join our management team as a Restaurant Manager . We’re looking for someone who leads with warmth, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands that genuine hospitality is found in the details. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring a team, building relationships with guests, and creating exceptional dining experiences. A.O.C. is an independently owned, chef-driven restaurant from James Beard Award-winning chef Suzanne Goin and James Beard Award-winning restaurateur Caroline Styne , known for seasonal cooking, genuine hospitality, and thoughtful service. Responsibilities Lead and support daily front-of-house operations. Foster a warm, welcoming dining experience by engaging with guests and anticipating their needs. Coach, mentor, and develop the service team while maintaining high standards of hospitality. Support scheduling, staffing, and daily operational needs. Partner with the culinary and management teams to ensure seamless service. Resolve guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and care. Maintain service standards, cleanliness, and an organized dining room. Lead by example and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture. Skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Warm, engaging, and naturally guest-focused. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Calm, positive, and solution-oriented under pressure. Collaborative, hands-on management style. Qualifications 2+ years of restaurant management or hospitality leadership experience. Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences. Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards. Knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service preferred. Requirements Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to spend extended periods on your feet and move throughout the restaurant. Flexibility to support all aspects of restaurant operations as business needs require.
