Corporate Strategy and Development Intern

Support all aspects of HII’s organic and inorganic strategy Participate in strategy projects spanning M&A transaction support, defense budget analysis, go-to-market strategy, new market development, acquisition integration, and operational and technology strategy initiatives Contribute to major strategy initiatives Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and business-case analysis Develop briefing and review materials Perform market research Assist in project management and due diligence Cultivate relationships across all levels of the organization Requirements US Citizenship Required for this Position Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher Enrolled in a relevant degreed program supporting company business requirements, typically Business, Management, Accounting, Economics/Finance, Tax Accounting or Accounting Taxation, Computer Information Science or Information Technology, Communications, Marketing, English, or Human Resources Currently attending a 4-year college or university or 2+2 program; ideally a rising junior or above and attending school in the fall following the internship, or currently enrolled in a relevant Master's program Ability to work a 40-hour work week for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer School name, degree program and major, anticipated graduation date, current academic level, overall GPA, and unofficial transcripts required when applying Valid email address required when applying, receiving communication, and obtaining employment offers Business/Economics curriculum with prior relevant coursework preferred Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates strong analytical capabilities in financial modeling, valuation, and business-case analysis while supporting strategic initiatives in M&A, market development, and operational strategies.
