Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in leading our nursing department. The ADON plays a key leadership role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and promoting clinical excellence within our facility.This position is ideal for a strong clinical leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional resident care.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Director of Nursing in overseeing and managing daily nursing operationsEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulationsPromote and maintain the highest standards of resident-centered careSupport infection control oversight and regulatory readinessPlan, organize, and conduct staff training programs and clinical in-servicesMaintain effective communication across all levels of nursing staffEnsure appropriate staffing levels to meet resident care needsParticipate in recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiativesOversee staff competency evaluations and implement corrective action plans when necessaryQualificationsRequired:Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New JerseyPreferred:Five (5) years of progressively responsible nursing experience in a clinical settingThree (3) years of supervisory experience in a long-term care or sub-acute settingPCC certificationInfection Prevention (IP) experience a plus
