Hybrid Medicare Service Representative

Pay: $18.98/hour
Location: San Antonio, TX
Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/week)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid — 2–3 days/week onsite (days TBD) plus a rotating weekend onsite schedule . Training is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM ET . After training, shifts rotate within 8:00 AM–8:00 PM ET and include weekend coverage.

Position Summary

We’re hiring a detail-oriented Medicare Service Representative to support prior authorization / coverage determination operations by accurately reviewing and routing incoming documentation from fax/data-entry queues. This role is productivity- and quality-driven and requires strong attention to detail and comfort working across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review incoming documents with accuracy and route to the correct processing queues
• Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation
• Research reports and escalate issues to appropriate clinical/pharmacy or leadership resources as needed
• Follow established processes and stay current on updates to regulations/guidelines
• Meet turnaround time, productivity, and quality expectations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong data entry skills and comfort navigating multiple applications (dual monitors preferred)
• Ability to work independently in a structured, productivity-driven environment
• Reliable attendance—especially during the initial training period

Hybrid / Work-from-Home Requirements

• Dedicated, quiet workspace with minimal interruptions
• Wired internet meeting 25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload minimum (screenshot of speed test may be requested)
• Must be on camera for training and meetings

Preferred

• Pharmacy, medical, or medical insurance background
• Prior work-from-home experience
