Maintenance Technician

Pay: $25/hr - $35/hr

Location: Woodland, CA

Shifts: Day / Night available - 4/10 Schedule

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Maintenance Technicians to join our team, with openings available for both General Technicians across various shifts. You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance tasks and minor mechanical repairs to material-handling and other Distribution Center (DC) equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) worksheets.
• Maintain efficient operation of material handling equipment by clearing jams and removing foreign materials.
• Conduct general building maintenance such as lamp replacement, simple construction, wiring, repair of overhead doors, and plumbing.
• Utilize PLC logic principles, System Control Software, and scanners for maintenance tasks.
• Contribute to financial decisions and demonstrate leadership in a team environment.

Essential Skills

• At least 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a facility, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in industrial electricity including single phase and three phase power, motors, and protective devices.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and System Control Software.
• Knowledge of electronics including photo sensors, remote I/O modules, servo drives, and scanning systems.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing to 100-foot levels, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology is preferred.
• Experience with financial decision-making and team leadership.
• Knowledge in mechanical, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Work Environment

Work in a temperature-controlled warehouse with up to six racks high. Be prepared to climb and work on catwalks at higher elevations.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodland, CA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
