Experience with Mazak lathes and Mazatrol controllers required. Experience with Doosan lathes and Fanuc controllers is a plus. Swiss-type lathe experience also a plus. MasterCAM programming experience preferred. Pay is based on experience and proven skill at $20.00 - $26.00 to start. First and Second shifts available; typically Mon-Thur., 10-hour shifts, with overtime available on Fridays. Start times are flexible, if needed. United Engineered Technologies offers a clean, temperature-controlled working environment. We are AS9100 certified for aerospace, and currently service the defense, medical, energy and aerospace sectors. Responsibilities Machine components for first articles as well as production runs. Monitor quality by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions and troubleshooting processes. Adjust and reprogram control while adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. Perform in-process inspections to ensure compliance with specifications. Qualifications Experience with Mazak lathes and Mazatrol controllers required. Experience with Doosan lathes and Fanuc controllers is a plus. Swiss-type lathe experience also a plus. MasterCAM programming experience preferred. Experience with MasterCAM and AutoDesk Fusion 360 a plus. Set-up and operate CNC Lathe and/or CNC Mill. Prefer 2 years experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment. Compensation and Schedule Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour, based on experience and proven skill. Overtime available; shift pattern typically Mon-Thur., 10-hour shifts; first and second shifts available. After 90 days: health/vision/dental, employer-matched 401(k), paid sick time, free uniforms and employer-paid life insurance. After 6 months: eligible for paid vacation and PTO.
