Assistant Project Manager - Structural Steel Erection On‑Site | Permanent | About the Role A growing structural steel contractor is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to support steel erection and fabrication projects. This role focuses on coordination, documentation, scheduling, and keeping projects moving safely, efficiently, and on budget. Key Responsibilities Project Support - Assist PMs across steel erection/fabrication projects. Drawing & Spec Review - Review blueprints, specs, and contract documents. Field Coordination - Work with field operations on equipment, materials, and subcontractors. Documentation - Prepare RFIs, submittals, change orders, progress reports. Material Tracking - Manage deliveries and maintain accurate records. Productivity Tracking - Monitor daily field productivity and timesheets. Client & Vendor Interaction - Maintain professional communication with clients, partners, and vendors.
