Our client is currently seeking a qualified Desktop Technician to join their team onsite in Westbury, NY and provide end-user support. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide hardware/software/network problem diagnosis/resolution via telephone/email/chat for client's end users
• Provide IT vendor customer service
• Serve as primary contact for client's IT vendors for system implementations
• Test IT implementation as required: network access, wireless, telephony
• Coordinate and manage relationships with client's vendors and client's local and remote support staff
• 'Hands and feet' for implementation and support for all IT service areas for Client site

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 to 5+ years of deskside PC support, customer service, and support experience with problem solving involving hardware, software, and networks
• Experience assisting the implementation of IT required
• Extensive experience in Desktop with Windows based support
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to provide support on own with limited oversight
• Hands-on work experience with the following:
• Windows Operating systems
• Basic experience with Mac support
• Imaging desktops and laptops
• Knowledge of Active Directory
• ITSM ticketing workload management
• MS Office 365 suite / MS teams

Wage Range: The rate for this position is between $20.25 - $27.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
