Production Support Analyst

Experience:

Experience in a production support or similar operational role is highly preferred.

Experience following runbooks and handling operational tasks like monitoring dashboards and escalating issues is expected.

Key Responsibilities

24/7 Production Support: Provide on-call support for critical applications, including weekends and holidays, as part of a follow-the-sun model with an existing team in India.

Independent Operation: Act as the sole representative of the team during shifts, making decisions and responding to incidents independently.

Compliance and Process Adherence: Enforce proper documentation and justification for all requests, pushing back on non-compliant asks that come through informal channels like Teams or email.

Incident and Change Management: Handle day-to-day operational tasks, including monitoring queues, managing incidents and change requests, and performing deployments.

Process Improvement and Automation: Proactively identify recurring issues, analyze root causes, and drive improvements to streamline processes and reduce manual intervention. The goal is to evolve the role by automating L1-type tasks.

Customer Engagement: Meet with application owners to discuss recurring problems and advocate for bug fixes and stability improvements over new feature development.

This is a Contract position based out of Chandler, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $69.25 - $69.25/hr.
