This on-site opportunity near Des Plaines, IL, is ideal for motivated Speech-Language Pathologists with a passion for helping children reach their fullest communication potential. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to school-age children
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and deliver targeted treatment plans and interventions
- Work closely with teachers and staff to support student learning and social development
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, presenting progress and recommending goals for students
- Provide consultation and resources to parents and educational teams for carry-over of therapy recommendations
