Big Data Consultant / Hadoop DeveloperDuration: Long TermClient: BankingRate: $57/hrLocation: 2 positions: 1- Cincinnati; 2 Lowell, MAWe need Software Engineers to build a Business Intelligence platform used by internal and external data consumers for product development, marketing analysis, and decision support. This platform is being constructed using cutting-edge technologies such as massively parallel processing (MPP), Hadoop and other big data tools (Python, R, Matlab) on Linux.Responsibilities:Develop reusable tools for the management and manipulation of dataDevelop and maintain real-time and batch-based population of databasesBuild reporting infrastructure using open source and/or 3rd party technologiesInterface with Business Intelligence, Database, and IT teams.Involved in the maintenance of the existing implementation.Requirements:Minimum 5 years of ExperienceProficient in Python.
