Expected pay for this position is $25.10 - $29.54/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Onboarding Specialist coordinates and completes onboarding activities to ensure all pre-employment requirements are fulfilled prior to the start of employment. This role helps ensure a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience while maintaining organizational compliance with employment eligibility, required documentation, and pre-employment requirements prior to a Mission Partner's start date. The Onboarding Specialist collaborates with internal partners including Occupational/Employee Health, Talent Acquisition, HR Information Systems, Badging teams, and operational leaders to ensure new Mission Partners are fully prepared for their first day of work. This role tracks onboarding requirements, communicates with new hires regarding outstanding items, and helps ensure a smooth and timely onboarding process.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

High School Diploma/ GED

Experience:

1 year of experience in an administrative support environment

Other Skills/ Knowledge:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.

Ability to organize, track, and manage multiple tasks while meeting established deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Associate degree

Experience:

Experience in human resources.

Experience supporting onboarding operations or pre-employment compliance requirements.

Other Skills/ Knowledge:

Knowledge of employment eligibility verification processes including the Form I-9.
