Countertop Installer (construction experience required)

Job Description Job Description We are a manufacturer of stone countertops. This position is based out of Springfield, IL. Our installers are responsible for installing these countertops. You will be one of the faces of our company and one of many reasons our customer choose to do business with Modern Countertops We run a full digital process: What does this mean for you? The parts you will be installing will be laser templated, digitally layed out for precise material flow and CNC milled to ensure you do the least amount of onsite work as possible. We rarely pull an angle grinder out to cut back splash or core a hole. We let our machines do the heavy and dirty work for you. We invest in the latest lifting equipment for our installers: What does this mean for you? You do the least amount of lifting and carrying possible when moving parts around. What we are looking for in a candidate: * Obsessive about staying on schedule * Desire for organization * Strong willingness to learn * Ability to objectively look at your skill set to see where you need to improve * Be humbled enough to ask for help when needed * Outgoing and positive * Mechanically inclined: We want someone who likes to tinker in their own time * Team player Requirements and Qualifications: * 2 years+ of Stone countertop installation experience preferred but we consider all applicants * Able to work 40 + hours weekly * Valid Drivers' License * High School Diploma or GED * Cellphone * Car or daily prompt rides to and from work Salary and Incentives * Hourly wage with overtime pay to start(based off experience). * Holiday Pay: major holidays and a week break from Christmas to New Year's Day (after 3 months of employment) * 5 days of paid time off (after 3 months of employment) * Individual Health Insurance (after 3 months of employment) * Disability Insurance * Retirement package (after 1 year of employment) We are looking for the right person to add to our team.
