Licensed Electrician

Licensed Journeyman ElectricianForge is looking for a licensed journeyman electrician with substantial experience with heating and cooling systems (heat pumps specifically) and within a residential setting to join our installation team.At Forge, we install energy-efficient heat pumps for homeowners across Greater Boston. Our mission is to help homeowners make their homes more comfortable and sustainable while reducing energy costs.This is a leadership role in a specialized setting: you'll lead the electrical work behind residential heat pump installations — wiring equipment, running circuits, and completing panel and service upgrades — while mentoring apprentices and setting the standard for quality on every job.You'll work as a job lead, guiding apprentices through the electrical scope of each install, troubleshooting more complex issues, and ensuring every job meets Forge's quality bar from start to finish.Pay Range: $35–$50/hr, based on related experience, ability to mentor apprentices, ability to lead jobs independently, and quality of work.LogisticsService area: Metrowest and Eastern Massachusetts — you'll travel to job sites across this area daily.Schedule: Consistent, full-time work, year-round, Monday–Friday — no on-call or after-hours rotation.
