Supply Chain Operations Associate

Job Description We are immediately hiring for a 2nd shift Supply Chain Operations Associate in Arlington, TX for our Supply Chain Solutions division. Position Details Pay Type: Salaried Non‑Exempt – Salary paid twice per month Annual Salary: $50,000 to $52,500 per year Schedule: 2nd Shift – Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with potential Saturday shifts; employees may receive a weekday off and opportunities for overtime. Serve as the main point of contact for all suppliers and provide direction on ship‑schedule requirements and containment plans when behind schedule. Track critical parts and develop/executive containment plans to avoid interruptions or downtime on the manufacturing line. Coordinate alternative sources of material and request spot buys when necessary. Monitor, set up, and cancel truck loads for material pick‑up to support schedule variations and keep material coverage at lowest cost. Review part buffers to ensure build coverage and document and manage exceptions for assembly plants. Maintain accurate inventory levels in MGO, adjust inventory, and investigate and process record adjustment requests from the previous shift. Bachelor's degree – preferred. 1 year or more of administrative experience – preferred. 1 year or more of relevant experience – preferred. Intermediate knowledge of MGO (GM's MRP system) – preferred. Intermediate knowledge of transportation management – preferred. Intermediate knowledge of material flow in manufacturing processes – preferred. Travel None.
