Job Summary Brandi's Hope is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide care and support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. The role requires a positive, creative, and energetic attitude and strong interactive skills to assist clients in daily activities and community inclusion. Hours & Shifts Days shift: Wednesday 10:00 am‑7:00 pm, Thursday‑Saturday 7:00 am‑7:00 pm. Responsibilities Provide daily support to individuals with varying degrees of developmental/intellectual disabilities. Assist with job supports, self‑care, recreational activities, and community inclusion. Transport clients to appointments or workplace assignments as needed. Assist with feeding, hygiene, and other personal care tasks. Collaborate with staff to create and implement individualized support plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum one (1) year of verifiable work experience with individuals with developmental disabilities within the last three (3) years. Current, valid driver’s license and completed CPR certification. Extensive background check and drug screening before employment. Age 18 years or older. Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation. Compensation & Benefits Starting pay $10.00 per hour with a guaranteed 45‑hour week. Overtime $15.00 per hour. DSPs receive 3 hours of unpaid overtime pay for perfect attendance each week after working 42 hours, adjusting effective hourly rate to $11.31. Following successful completion of orientation, base rate increases to $11.50, overtime to $17.25, and effective hourly rate to $13.01.
