Customs Trade Coordinator - S3

Responsibilities Coordinate documentation required by US Customs/Government Agencies for entry of goods into the United States on behalf of importers. Provide impeccable customer service. Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release using database, SOPs, tariff books, internet or customs records. Enter and process various import‑related documents for submission to US Customs; may handle all participating government agencies (PGA’s). Maintain and keep current all shipment documentation in compliance with record‑keeping requirements. Adhere to all international importing and exporting regulations. Work closely with internal staff, departments, FedEx operations, and customers to deliver a high level of service. Process agency brokerage shipments. Handle remote filings as needed. Ensure all government and organizational policies are followed. Perform other duties as assigned and participate in paid training. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. No industry experience required; minimum 6 months of work experience preferred. Data entry/keyboard experience required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications such as Outlook; ability to use multiple screens and windows. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to handle high‑volume, time‑sensitive work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to use multiple systems and reference materials; interact with customers, carriers, brokers, government agencies, internal staff, management at all levels, and internal departments. Preferred Qualifications Experience using multiple screens, programs, and computer systems in a professional or educational environment, performing routine tasks such as data entry and document creation. Onsite work required until productivity and accuracy standards are met; thereafter, work‑from‑home options may become available based on company needs. Pay $21.85 per hour. Additional Details Shift: Sunday 7 am‑3:30 pm and Monday–Thursday 9 pm‑5:30 am. Mandatory overtime may be required during high‑volume periods.
