About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Institute for Safe Patient Care and Patient Empowerment. The successful candidate will serve as the senior administrative leader, responsible for operationalizing the Institute's mission to educate and promote best practices in the detection, prevention, and reporting of sexual abuse within the healthcare setting. This role involves co-leading with the Faculty Director, overseeing strategy, operations, finances, partnerships, compliance, staffing, and communications. The Executive Director will be instrumental in building a nationally recognized institute, developing and implementing strategic plans, and establishing the necessary infrastructure for growth and sustainability. Key responsibilities include co-leading national advocacy activities, developing educational curricula, and fostering relationships with various stakeholders, including academic medical centers, professional societies, and regulatory bodies. Candidates for the Executive Director position must have a Master's degree in a relevant field, with an additional advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' leadership experience. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in healthcare, academic medicine, patient safety, quality, compliance, or nonprofit management, and a proven track record in managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. The ideal candidate will be an action-oriented leader with exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to transparency, accountability, and patient-centered care. Experience in financial management, partnership development, and a history of success in program or initiative development are essential. The Executive Director will also be responsible for developing external revenue opportunities and overseeing the Institute's communication strategy.
