Tax Manager

Job Description Tax Manager responsible for domestic compliance and tax accounting for the Sports and Entertainment operations of Fox Corporation. Responsibilities Review corporate and partnership federal, state, and local income tax returns in accordance with relevant tax laws and regulations. Review quarterly estimated tax payments and tax return extensions, including monitoring payment deadlines. Review interim and year‑end tax provisions with a focus on current taxable income calculation and validation of deferred balances in accordance with ASC 740. Liaise with finance and accounting personnel to collect and analyze financial information and document calculations, assumptions, and conclusions to support income tax filings and forecasts. Develop an understanding of business operations. Assist with responses to tax notices, including corresponding with taxing authorities to resolve inquiries and disputes. Day‑to‑day management of tax team members and/or consultants on assigned projects. Provide tax support to other corporate and operating groups. Assist with various projects related to income tax audits and planning. Qualifications Bachelor's degree. 7+ years of domestic income tax compliance experience. Detail‑oriented with ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast‑paced work environment. Ability to perform responsibilities independently, effectively, and efficiently when working remotely. Self‑starter with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of domestic corporate and partnership income tax principles. Strong understanding of basic tax accounting concepts. Strong tax technical research skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, logical formulas). Nice to Have Major in accounting and MBA and/or CPA. Public accounting experience with a nationally recognized firm. Experience with CorpTax, Alteryx, and Workday. Compensation & Benefits Pay rate: $114,000.00–$130,000.00 annually, based on education, skills, experience, and location. Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
