Job Description

This is a laborious position. The Position- FULL TIME- MON-FRI(7:00 AM-4:00 PM)- Saturdays (TBD) Principal Duties/ Major Responsibilities:

• Prepares machine for the start of production and oversees daily operation in compliance with safe operating procedures.
• Follow all required work safe practices.

This would include wearing all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, fall restraints, etc.

• Adhere to food safety and all quality requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer, and SQF requirements and assist in all internal/external audits
• Stage and weigh ingredients to be processed
• Process ingredients
• Safely operate process equipment machinery
• Safely operate a forklift
• Document stages of processing
• Perform daily equipment checks

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation
• Be able to lift at least 50 lbs. regularly
• Demonstrated ability to work in teams
• Reliable, predictable attendance is required
• Employee must have the ability to climb stairs and be on their feet for long periods of time.
• Must have a practical working knowledge of basic arithmetic functions (multiplication, division, addition, subtraction).
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
• HACCP certification and/or ServSafe Training a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Candidates must be accustomed to working in a manufacturing plant with varying temperatures. This position is subject to noise from machinery. It will require varying degrees of personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots, earplugs, gloves, lab coats, masks, and safety glasses or goggles. #J-18808-Ljbffr Maxx Performance Inc.
