Public Trust SOC Analyst

To support the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the full-time remote Public Trust SOC Analyst will continuously monitor enterprise security systems, analyze security alerts, and identify potential cyber threats. Key responsibilities Continuously monitor enterprise security systems and SOC dashboards for malicious activity Analyze security alerts from various monitoring platforms and correlate security events to identify threats Perform initial incident triage, validate potential security incidents, and escalate confirmed incidents as necessary Required qualifications Public Trust Clearance or ability to obtain one B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) or cybersecurity monitoring Experience with SIEM platforms and security monitoring technologies Understanding of NIST SP 800-61 and knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework
