Customer Service Representative

FYZICAL, a leading physical therapy company in the country, is looking for a Customer Service Representative in Carmel, IN. As the first and last person clients see, your role will support daily operations and help patients return to the lives they love. Responsibilities Handle patient scheduling, appointments, and multi-phone line operations Gather new patient data and keep track of all patient referrals Disseminate information to patients and act as a liaison between patients and physicians Send and keep a log of all reports sent to doctors Collect all payments and manage insurance verification Collect/open mail and distribute it to the proper areas/people Send benefits paperwork to billing companies Handle scheduling and related communications Answer phones, act as a patient liaison, and address questions from potential or current patients Schedule patients and coordinate evaluations, re-evaluations, appointment reminders, and cancellations Collect new patient intake information; track all clinic referrals Fax reports to physicians and maintain a log of incoming reports Verify insurance and track insurance-covered visits; collect copayments Check mail and keep track of Explanation of Benefits sent from mail, and fax to the billing company Communicate with the office manager and clinicians about scheduling and patient arrival Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Great communicator, multitasker, detail-oriented Positive attitude, good work ethic, integrity, and empathy toward people experiencing pain H.S. graduate or GED certificate Up-to-date driver's license and dependable vehicle Excellent at handling details, communicating, and multitasking Great demeanor, strong integrity, and compassion #J-18808-Ljbffr
