Shipping AssociateThe Shipping Associate is responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping products accurately and efficiently. This entry-level position supports warehouse and logistics operations by ensuring orders are processed, labeled, and shipped according to company standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.Verify order accuracy before packaging and shipping.Label packages and complete shipping documentation.Operate shipping software and scanners as needed.Load and unload shipments safely.Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.Inspect packages for quality and damage prior to shipment.Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.Assist with receiving and stocking incoming materials when needed.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.Basic computer and math skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications:Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience is a plus but not required.Experience using barcode scanners or warehouse management systems is helpful.Forklift certification is a plus (training may be provided).Skills and Competencies:Attention to detailTime managementTeamworkCommunication skillsSafety awarenessProblem-solving abilityWorking Conditions:Warehouse or distribution center environment.Exposure to changing temperatures, noise, and moving equipment.May require overtime, weekends, or flexible scheduling based on business needs.
