Responsibilities Analyzes and evaluates financial system interface to determine validity, propriety, accuracy, and adequacy of financial management transactions. Identify and define actual or potential system deficiencies and usable output for debt establishment processes to include all variables required are valid within software rules and are effectively and efficiently automated. Perform quality control examinations of automated systems, interfaces, dataflow, and internal controls to detect deficiencies in the operation of functional areas. Conduct research within multiple financial systems to process automation requirements and resolve complex customer issues. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized Experience Defined As: performing data analysis and evaluation of financial systems, policies, and procedures; verifying complex military pay attributes such as entitlements, deductions and tax computations; resolve complex financial issues. You may qualify for consideration if meeting specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement. This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Level 2 Certification under the DoD Financial Management (FM) Certification Program as a condition of employment.
