Records Management Specialist

Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (onsite) Schedule: Standard Business Hours Duration: 3 Month Contract Pay Rate: $31.00 - $35.00/hr Position Summary Our client is one of the nation's largest natural gas distribution utilities, serving millions of customers across Central and Southern California. They are seeking a Records Management Specialist to support a large-scale regulatory records organization and disposal effort on a 3-month contract basis. This is a fully onsite role, five days a week, and is a contract-only engagement that will not convert to a full-time position. The selected candidate will complete one round of interviews with the hiring manager and a supervisor. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Sort and organize high volumes of regulatory hard copy records. Separate records by proceeding number. Identify and remove duplicate records. Log disposed records in the official disposal log. Dispose of records in approved bins per company policy. Box and label records for relocation. Identify and separate confidential, legal hold, or sensitive materials. Education/Experience High school diploma required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Knowledge/Skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage high-volume tasks independently.
