In this role, you’ll provide critical support and tailored instruction for a caseload of 15-20 students, helping each child reach their true academic and social potential.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Prior experience teaching at the elementary level, especially grades 3 or 4
• In-depth understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Strong ability to modify curriculum and differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver effective, individualized lessons for a group of 15-20 students in grades 3 and 4
• Develop, review, and update IEPs in collaboration with parents, general education teachers, and specialists
• Track student progress toward educational goals and communicate updates regularly
• Use assessment data to guide instruction and provide targeted academic/behavioral interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
• Support a positive classroom climate where every student feels empowered and respected
