SUPERVISING WATER RESOURCE CONTROL ENGINEER (SUPERVISORY)

Job Description and Duties

The State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Drinking Water has an opening for a Supervising Water Resource Control Engineer (Supervisory) in the Southeast California Section (Section VI) of the Southern California Field Operations Branch. The position may be located at either 2375 Northside Dr., Suite 100, San Diego, CA 92108 or 464 W. 4 Th Street, Suite 437, San Bernardino, CA 92401.

Duties: The Supervising Water Resource Control Engineer (Supervisory) (Supervising WRCE) supervises, organizes, and directs the work of five Division of Drinking Water (DDW) Districts located in the San Diego and San Bernardino field offices of the Southern California Field Operations Branch. The Supervising WRCE plans, organizes, and directs the work of staff who implement the regulatory and permitting aspects of the Drinking Water Program as the lead manager of the Southeast California Section. Statement of Qualifications (SOQ)

A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) must be submitted along with the State Application and serves as documentation of candidate’s ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing.
