Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Utilizes radiopharmaceuticals as well as oral and IV contrast agents to perform a variety of diagnostic PET, PET/CT and CT examinations. Utilizes a multi-slice CT scanner and power injector. Starts IVs and administers various contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals at the direction of the physician.

Required Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Washington Radiologic Technologist License upon hire
• Upon Hire:
• National Positron Emission Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board --or--
• National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology --or--
• National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board --or--
• National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography --or--
• National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Additional CT training
• 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Previous CT experience
