Job Title

To define those characteristics that are needed to perform successfully as a Registered Nurse in the MedSurg and ICU Department.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and or ability required. This position is represented by RCHEA.

Standards of Behavior Line of Responsibility and Authority LINE OF AUTHORITY: RN II, Emergency Department - Director of Emergency Department Professionalism and Self-Development

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: At least one year Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months and acute critical experience within the last 12 months or EMT and ED Tech with a minimum of 2 years experience & in good standing.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Current license as a Registered Nurse by the State of California.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Evidence of current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: MICN desired to be completed within one year of hire.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: MICN, NRP, TNCC, and CEN encouraged and recommended.

QUALIFICATIONS: Basic computer skills.
