Registered Nurse Icu

The Registered Nurse Icu plans, coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units. He/she ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the units standard of care. He/she demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing systems; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect. This position is represented by RCHEA.

Variable shift days, 36 hours per week. Icu and Er experience preferred as there could be some floating needed between units.

Education and Qualifications: At least two years of documented Icu experience and/or attend an approved Icu training course, which includes didactic and clinical experiences. Basic computer skills. Current license as a Registered Nurse by the State of California. Pals and Acs Certification within six months of hire. Ccrn encouraged. Acs Certification required. Bls Certification following American Heart Association guidelines required (no other cards accepted).
