About the Team Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) is a subsidiary of A&M that specializes in financial and accounting due diligence, capital markets, accounting advisory, global transaction analytics, environmental, technical & sustainability (ETS) and other related M&A services for private equity, hedge funds, sovereign wealth, family office and corporate clients worldwide. Locations Our Transaction Advisory Group has an opportunity to join a growing team in New York, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Nashville, Los Angeles and San Francisco. How you will contribute As a Senior Associate, you will work with a highly motivated team on a variety of projects across manufacturing, distribution, consumer, retail, restaurants, business and industrial services, healthcare, software & technology, energy and financial services. You will gain exposure to an integrated due diligence approach that goes beyond traditional quality‑of‑earnings analyses and focuses on key value drivers for sponsors and lenders. Responsibilities Assist with core financial due diligence, identifying key risks and potential deal breakers, assessing the strengths and weaknesses of the business against industry benchmarks, and aiding in the evaluation of the potential transaction in the context of the client’s investment strategy. Analyze detailed financial statement information including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and key operational data; synthesize and convert the data into meaningful information used to drive discussions with target management. Assess the quality of the target company’s reported earnings, net assets and cash flows. Construct deal‑oriented reports and presentations for clients that highlight key financial, commercial and other findings, and incorporate these findings into valuation and agreement negotiations. Participate in meetings and conference calls with target company management and client personnel, serving as a secondary point of contact for day‑to‑day execution matters. Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to business development opportunities. Qualifications Minimum of 2–4 years of audit and financial accounting due diligence experience at a top accounting firm, with at least 1 year in financial due diligence. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or in process of obtaining one. Working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting. High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong project management skills. Flexibility to work as both a team member and an individual contributor. Ability to thrive in fast‑paced settings. Benefits and Compensation The base salary is $130,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, skills and geography. A&M offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance. Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are entitled to participate in the company’s fringe benefits, including healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D and disability coverages, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with an annual discretionary contribution.
