Job Summary:
Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) procedures in Montana. This position involves working in a critical access hospital environment, supporting surgical services across multiple specialties such as obstetrics, orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, and dental. The RN will provide care through all phases of perioperative processes, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care, with flexibility to float between units as needed.

• Position: Operating Room Nurse (Perioperative RN)
• Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/20/2026
• Schedule: 8 shifts/month with on-call requirement, including weekends every 3rd or 4th weekend depending on rotation and time off requests
• Requirements:
  • Valid Montana or Compact Registered Nurse license (required at time of submission)
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous charge experience in perioperative settings
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (PALS preferred)
  • Experience with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment supporting PACU, Preoperative, OR, and Endoscopy units
  • Competent in assisting with various surgical procedures including C-sections, hysterectomies, orthopedic surgeries, and endoscopies
  • Flexibility to float across surgical units within scope of practice
  • Must have previous charge experience and be familiar with surgical procedures and patient management from pre-op to discharge
• Additional Information:
  • All travelers should be prepared to float within the facility
  • Return Providence staff must wait 3 months before submitting as travelers
  • Inflexibility beyond contracted schedule and RTO requests may lead to contract termination
  • Candidates will need to respond to prior employment questions and provide two references covering the last three years
  • Vaccination requirements: Flu vaccine status is unknown; COVID-19 vaccine not required
