Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (LDRP RN) position is based in Polson, Montana. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in the Labor and Delivery Department, including obstetric triage, postpartum care, and cesarean section support. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a 12-hour night shift schedule with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

• Required Qualifications: Valid Montana or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand at the time of submission), BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and Clinical Lactation Certification (CLC). A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery is required; seasoned travelers preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, CLC, and Stable certification.
• Travel Experience Required: Yes
• EMR System: Epic
• Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Adults
• Additional Responsibilities: All travelers should be prepared to float within the facility, including assisting with various OB unit areas, answering phones, and IV starts.
• Schedule Details: 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• On-Call and Holiday Requirements: On-call up to once per pay period with a 30-minute callback time; must work at least one holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day) and at least one winter holiday, scheduled in pairs (e.g., Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas and Christmas Eve, or New Years and New Years Eve).
• Additional Information: Candidates must include the last four digits of SSN and RTO preferences at submission. References: two within the last three years covering one year (or six months for CNAs). All documentation must be submitted by the deadline.
